What an amazing wrap up on our founders’ month tour!!!! Our final destination took us to Nashville, TN!!! We got to spend much needed girl time with Soror Vivian for brunch, pedicures and ended it with a night out on the town!! It’s been a beautiful tour and a great way to celebrate our sisters in honor of Women’s History Month!! 🩶🪽🩷

In aviation, we cycle through crew members as much as we buy pantyhose. It’s not always easy to make friends. It’s not easy having to “start over” when making connections. But every once in a while you meet people who are emotionally available and as equally in need of good friends and they stick around for a while. Sometimes, a lifetime. They become our angels in disguise! Celebrate your sisters and best friends EVERYDAY! They are the real MVPs! 🩷🪽🩶

By challenging discriminatory hiring practices, Patricia Banks helped push the industry toward greater equality and opportunity for Black women who dreamed of taking their place in the skies. Her strength helped lay the foundation for diversity and representation within aviation that continues to grow today.

In the 1950s, when racism tried to ground her dreams, Ruth Carol Taylor refused to stay seated. After being rejected by major airlines because of her race, she persisted—and made history with Mohawk Airlines in 1957. Her courage didn’t stop there. She challenged discriminatory policies, covered the March on Washington as a journalist, and dedicated her life to activism and racial equity.
