It’s Time to Glow Up and Show Up, Angels!

It’s time to glow up and show up, Angels! This has been a season for change, growth and success. We are no strangers to sacrifice and hard work for a greater good.
From adopting healthier lifestyles, to learning new hobbies and having our babies spread their own wings to leave the nest, after years of preparation and nurturing. Success and achievement was always the goal. We are an organization that flies as well as wins!
It’s important to embrace that mantra because as Proverbs 23:7 says, "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." Do not be consumed by your challenges and setbacks. We all have them but let your success be the true attribute by which you are measured and remembered, not your failures.
You have been put on notice that this is our time to shine. We thrive and build on our individual success and it propels us collectively. When we wear our letters, we represent for something greater than ourselves.
We are a collective of achievement from various sources. The glow and show is not just for ourselves but for our sisterhood, the flight attendants that paved the way before us and the ones to follow. Ready for takeoff is not just a chant; it’s a call to action and our war cry! This is our glow up season, embrace it and Stay Ready for Takeoff!

About the Contributing Writer
Toni has been a Dallas–Fort Worth–based flight attendant for the past seven years and currently resides in Celina, Texas, with her husband, Dewayne, and their three children. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she has called North Texas home for more than 20 years.
A graduate of Purdue University, Toni also holds an MBA in Business Administration from Keller. She is a proud member of Sigma Kappa Psi Sorority and brings a rich background in creative writing and journalism, having served as a staff writer for two independent newspapers. Her professional experience also spans elementary education, early childhood program leadership as a licensed director, mortgage banking, and healthcare administration.
Beyond her career, Toni shares a monthly self-reflective mantra newsletter on her social media platforms, inspiring others through words and perspective. She is also working toward her private pilot’s license and enjoys building flight hours whenever possible. In her free time, she finds joy in golf, line dancing, cooking, reading, hosting, and making lasting memories with her family while traveling the world.
